Are you ready for more joy, motivation, and laughter?

I’ve created a program called Team Joy that fills participants (and me) with delight. It’s based on feedback from friends and clients who crave:

  • Something joyful and delightful to look forward to each week

  • Strategies to find joy and to celebrate themselves

  • Easy, authentic human connection – with lots of laughter

Team Joy is not about toxic positivity or taking the ostrich approach of ignoring the world around us. It’s about actively looking for the moments of laughter, connection, and joy despite the chaos.

The focus is to recognize and honor this deeply challenging moment while simultaneously cultivating a practice of joy.

It’s a damn blast.

Tell me if this sounds familiar. You:

  • Feel unmotivated and depleted or, perhaps, like you’re treading water

  • Recognize you’ve hit the pandemic wall but don’t know what to do about it

  • Want more positivity and fun

If any of this resonates,

You’re invited to Team Joy!

How It Works

  • In this monthly subscription program, we’ll create something to look forward to every week, finding joy and connection in the process.

    • In our live, virtual sessions, we’ll have a high energy “pick me up” where I’ll share powerful mindset shifts, silly stories, and my favorite easy-to-implement tools to find more joy. Each session is recorded with a transcript, so no stress if you miss.

    • On the weeks we don’t meet, I’ll pop into your inbox with my latest delights, the silly or motivating memes that make me giggle, and an encouraging coloring sheet! You’ll also have the option to use a community forum to share your delights and stay in touch. Not feeling up for additional connection? That’s a-ok (see the FAQ below).

  • Dates: Our live, virtual sessions are on Tuesdays, 12-1pm CT.

    • October 12 and 26

    • November 9 and 23

  • The program includes a JoyBook, a powerful and playful guide that’ll support you on your joyful adventures. As you complete the activities, your JoyBook will become a highly personalized resource, which clients say they return to again and again, even years later.

FAQ

I’m already busy, and I’m hesitant to add another commitment. Is this going to be another stressor? Is there homework?

Here’s the deal: some folks will attend every session and do every suggested activity. Others will join the live sessions occasionally or participate more passively. Most people will fall somewhere in between.

That’s a-ok. This is a wild moment and Team Joy is a no pressure zone. Our priority is to spark that sense of joy and motivation.

I have a conflict for one or more of the dates. Should I still join?

Absolutely! I’ll share recordings after, so you can watch (or not!) when it’s convenient to you. You’ll also get the JoyBook for that week and all of the fun treats in between the live, virtual sessions.

Do I need to be in a good mood or pretend to be happy to join Team Joy?

Absolutely not. One of my core values is what I call non-toxic positivity: we recognize the deep challenges and complexity of this moment while simultaneously seeking joy and connection. If you don’t feel like participating, you’re welcome to turn your video off and passively watch Lelia TV. Past participants describe these sessions as, “Real, honest conversation — exactly what was needed,” and “Just the right combination of optimism with reality.”

I haven’t always felt welcome or included in other “personal growth” spaces. Is this group for me?

For too long, most of the “personal growth” movement has focused on white, cisgender, heterosexual women who are well-educated and financially secure. Most people don’t fit that mold. In all of the communities I lead, I remain committed to another one of my core values: to celebrate diversity of perspective and identity in ways that invite a sense of belonging, creating deeper connection.

In the past, the communities I’ve led have been affinity group spaces for people who identify as women. I’m opening up Team Joy to people of all genders because I want to create a more inclusive environment to seek out joy — because joy is for all of us.

Participant Feedback

“Lelia creates an environment where people who don’t necessarily know each other can come together and really connect.

Within the space of an hour, the walls have come down and people are laughing, sharing stories together, and interacting in a way that is really hard to find in other spaces.”
— Erica Sherman

“Lelia cultivates magical spaces where our bravest and best selves can learn, play and grow.”
— Stacy Melvin
“Lelia is realistic about the extremely challenging circumstances we’re all experiencing & actively turns away from toxic positivity.

I was having a tough morning (but wanted to be there!) and it was really nice to be given the option not to participate if I wasn’t in the headspace for it.

The program was upbeat, exciting, refreshing, and relaxing — like being with a group of great friends.”
— Katie Donahue

Investment to join Team Joy: $298.50 per month

Price Transparency + Accessibility

Time and Money

I am committed to creating paths within my business that increase equity and foster joy for everyone, regardless of whether they have the financial resources to participate. Since starting my business, I’ve continued to host free events, take pro-bono speaking engagements, and offer loads of free resources in my articles for Forbes and in my essays.

In the past, my group coaching communities have been a significant investment ($5,994 for a 6-month program). While I continue to offer the free resources listed above, I’ve deliberately structured Team Joy to be more accessible, both in terms of the financial and the time commitments ($298.50 for the monthly subscription). I want to create a more inclusive environment for us to gather and seek joy together.

Invest in Ourselves and One Another

Finally, another one of my core values is that we consistently invest in ourselves and one another. When you join the team, your investment will foster someone else’s joy.

Much of my Louisiana community is still reeling from the impact of Hurricane Ida, and climate disasters have hit over a third of the country this summer alone. Whether it’s a fire, floods, or something else, if you have been personally impacted by climate change and the cost is inaccessible, please email me. I’d love to have you in the group.
